Food is the heart of the soul!

When I was growing up, we did not sit at the table and eat dinner as a family often which was something that I strive to do as a wife and mother with my family. Quickly realizing the financial demand of having a large family, having to work long hours with conflicting schedules, I found myself preparing dinner, while my children ate together, I was preparing the house for school and work the next day. After I put my children to bed I was able to eat my dinner by myself, leaving my husband's plate wrapped in plastic on the stove because by the time he would get home from work, we were sleep. Providing a home cooked meal for your family not only strengthens the bond in your family, it provides a sake of unity and togetherness. – Lady T
